Catalogue note

A Japanese Ivory kimono of a man holding what look like a rake which has a finely carved dragon fly on the shaft. It is a beautifully detailed piece but sadly the tips of his fingers are missing on one hand. I wouldn't normally present anything with damage but it is still a lovely piece and the damage is not very noticeable. Therefore the damage is reflected in the price. It is signed verso.
It measures 15.5cm from the top of his head to base
