Catalogue note
A 19th Century Swiss miniature musical box. The mechanism which is wound with a key works well and plays 2 airs.
The casing is wooden and the top is painted with an image of two young ladies.
There are no breaks to the casing but the painted image has wear commensurate with age and use. See photos.
Overall this is a good and rather pretty piece and the sound is lovely
