A very ornate paper knife/ letter opener in the form of a dagger.
The blade is made from ivory and the hilt is gilded metal beset with 8 semi-precious stones which appear to be citrine, amethyst , rose quartz and crystal quartz.
It is Continental in origin and possible Italian. Circa 1900.
