Catalogue note
A good and heavy pair of 19th Century French church candlesticks. Each candlestick is decorated with the Maltese Cross which appears four times on each candlestick and appears to be enamelled. There is some restoration to two of the crosses but not very noticeable. The stems are made of twisted brass and culminate on a heavy base supported by lion paw feet.
