Catalogue note
A large salt glazed stoneware apothecary jar which is in very good condition, commensurate with age, with no cracks and one tiny chip at the base.
Decorated at the base and lid with foliage, it bears a hand painted label: PULV-AMYLI. This indicates it was for a rubbing ointment to hasten the disappearance of any syphilitic skin lesion!
We can deliver free of charge in UK mainland and could calculate the cost for international delivery.
