Catalogue note
A lovely 17th Century oak bible box with chip carved ends, a carved frieze and original iron lock plate. It has a beautiful patina and in original condition. There is a split on the bottom of the box which we have left as we feel its not relevant.
Overall, the condition is very good commensurate with age.
